Reporting to the Director, Data Platforms, the incumbent works directly with the data lake team in the implementation, architecture and development of the data platform.

You can expect to

  • Fournir un support technique et opérationnel pour la plateforme Snowflake, en assurant une disponibilité et des performances optimales.
  • Assister les utilisateurs et les équipes internes dans la résolution des incidents et des problèmes techniques liés à Snowflake.
  • Administrer, maintenir et optimiser la plateforme Snowflake pour garantir des performances élevées et une disponibilité continue.
  • Mettre en œuvre et maintenir les processus CI/CD en utilisant Azure DevOps pour assurer une intégration et un déploiement fluides.
  • Concevoir et déployer des infrastructures en tant que code (IaC) avec Terraform pour automatiser la gestion des ressources cloud.
  • Développer et gérer les pipelines de données pour l'ingestion, lat ransformation et le stockage des données.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes de développement et d'exploitation pour identifier et résoudre les problèmes techniques.
  • Assurer la sécurité et la conformité des données en appliquant les meilleures pratiques de gouvernance des données.
  • Participer à la planification et à la mise en œuvre de projets demigration de données et de modernisation des plateformes.
  • Documenter les processus et les procédures, et fournir une formation continue aux équipes internes.

  • Provide technical and operational support for the Snowflake platform, ensuring optimal availability and performance.
  • Assist users and internal teams in resolving incidents and technical issues related to Snowflake.
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize the Snowflake platform to ensure high performance and continuous availability.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps to ensure smooth integration and deployment.
  • Design and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform to automate cloud resource management.
  • Develop and manage data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure data security and compliance by applying data governance best practices.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of data migration and platform modernization projects.
  • Document processes and procedures, and provide ongoing training to internal teams.

Must haves

  • Solides compétences avec la plateforme Snowflake.
  • Compétence en infrastructures en tant que code (IaC) avec Terraform et Cloudformation.
  • Maîtrise des outils et des pratiques DevOps, en particulier Azure DevOps.
  • Solides compétences en programmation, notamment en SQL et en Python.
  • Compétence avec Linux, Bash (un atout).
  • Connaissance des concepts de sécurité des données et des meilleures pratiques de gouvernance.
  • Capacité à travailler en équipe et à collaborer avec des parties prenantes variées.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en résolution de problèmes.
  • Certification(s) pertinente(s) en Snowflake, DevOps ou AWS (un atout).
  • Baccalauréat ou Maitrise en informatique, informatique de gestion,ingénierie ou tout autre domaine connexe.
  • Une combinaison équivalente de scolarité et d’expérience pourra être prise en considération.
  • Minimum de 5 années d’expérience pertinente en données et analytiques.
  • A occupé un rôle similaire dans les 2 dernières années.

  • Strong skills in Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Cloudformation.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, especially Azure DevOps.
  • Strong programming skills, especially SQL and Python.
  • Proficiency with Linux, Bash (an asset).
  • Knowledge of data security concepts and governance best practices.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certification(s) in Snowflake, DevOps or AWS (an asset).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Engineering or any other related field.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data and analytics.
  • Has held a similar role in the last 2 years.
